Rules

1. POOL INFORMATION

A. The football pool will consist of 20 players. If you are interested in being in the pool, send your request to greg@gregball.com. If I receive more than 20 requests for slots in the pool, I will create separate pools.

B. The entry fee is $40 for the entire season. That's only about $2 a week for an entire season of excitement! From that $40 entry fee, $3.50 will go towards the cost of running this site and the remaining $36.50 will go toward the prizes.

C. Entry fees are due by August 31st, 2010 and there will be no refunds after August 31st, 2010.

2. WEEKLY PICKS

A. Select the NFL teams you think are going to win for each week of the NFL schedule.

B. Select the total points you think will be scored by both teams for the final game of the week without going over.

C. The total points scored in the final game of the week will be used to settle tie breakers for weekly winnings. If two or more players are tied with the most correct picks for the current week, the one who chooses the total points in the final game of the week closest to the actual total points scored without going over will win the weekly winnings. If two or more players settling the tie breaker choose the the total points closest to the actual total points scored without going over, the weekly winnings will be divided to those winners. If all of the players settling the tie breaker choose total points that goes over the actual total points scored, the weekly winnings will be divided to those winners.

D. All weekly picks must be submitted no later than 1 hour before the first NFL game for the current week (this includes weeks that have a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday game). Future weeks can be entered at any time and changed as often as you like up until the cutoff time. Failure to submit picks on time will result in your picks defaulting to all the home teams. If you let your picks default, you wil not be eligible for the weekly prize but your correct picks for that week will count toward the overall standings.

E. Players' picks for the current week will be made visible to everyone after the cutoff time for that week (see rule above). All picks will remain hidden until then.
